Кургинян упоминает, что Мобиус с 1964 г. работает консультантом в «American Institutes for Research», в Корее и Таиланде.
В статье "How the Antiwar Movement Expanded the Military-Academic-Industrial Complex" by Joy Rohde кратко упоминается этот Институт: American Institutes for Research (AIR). AIR grew out of the Army Air Force’s World War II Aviation Psychology research program and was created in 1946 by John C. Flanagan, a University of Pittsburgh psychology professor and former Chief of the Army Air Force Psychological Branch. As the practice of government contracting grew in the 1950s and 1960s, AIR grew substantially, diversifying into the study of human resources and human factors in the military, education, and industry. AIR was responsible for one of the army’s most successful Cold War social research projects, a training program called “Fight the Cold War: A War of Ideas and Convictions,” which taught American soldiers stationed abroad how culturally sensitive communications with locals could spread stability and goodwill. Pioneered in Korea in 1964, it was extended to Southeast Asia in 1967. The institute simply took over AU’s army contract. SORO’s director, psychologist Preston Abbott, remained at AIR with much his staff, while research into counterinsurgency, cross-cultural communications, and the causes of internal warfare continued as before. 22
И сносочка: 22. For a sanitized version of AIR’s history, see John C. Flanagan, “The American Institutes for Research,” American Psychologist 39 (1984): 1272–1276. On the creation of the project in Korea, see the materials in 1303–1301 Korean Research Unit (65) Folder 2 File, Box 2, Entry 1295 C, RG 319. On its extension to Thailand, see Mark Mobius to Kenneth Karcher, March 24, 1967, 1303–1301 Thailand 1967 File, Box 2, Entry 1295C, RG 319.
Упомянутый Kenneth Karcher - военный психолог: Dr. E. Kenneth Karcher, chief, Social Sciences Branch, Human Factors and Operations Research Division, U.S. Army Research Office.
RG 319 - номер фонда в нац, архиве США: The War Department and the Army Records of the Army Staff (RG 319).
Действительно, AIR занимался и Таиландом: AIR ran a Defense Department-funded counter-insurgency program in Thailand during the Vietnam War years, which involved designing programs that supported "assassinating key spokesmen [and] strengthening retaliatory mechanisms and similar preventative measures."[16] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Institutes_for_Research)

Достался им скандальный проект CAMELOT: Project CAMELOT dealing with the causes of revolution and insurgency in underdeveloped nations and methods for dealing with “political instability.” Project Camelot focused the attention of antiwar activists on American college campuses on the fact that many universities were assisting the military in research. Consequently, professors and offices engaged in DOD research were attacked, and protests reached a level where universities began to divest themselves of any connection with DOD research efforts, no matter how innocuous or far removed from the war in Vietnam. The Project Camelot controversy precipitated the renaming of SORO as CRESS in 1966. CRESS continued to operate under Army contracts with American University until 1969, when the relationship was terminated due to protests over the role of CRESS and other DOD research organizations in the Vietnam War and perceived meddling in the affairs of other nations experiencing insurgencies. CRESS was subsequently taken over by the American Institutes for Research, a Pittsburgh-based independent, nonprofit research organization with offices in Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Palo Alto, and Bangkok.
